Distribution by rail, pipeline and road
The majority of products leave Schwedt by rail. Product pipelines connect the refinery with the Seefeld tank farm, while carefully managed road logistics complete the network.

The Schwedt site has the people, infrastructure and regional renewable-energy potential to evolve into an integrated energy, chemicals and fuels hub. The HyPE+ pathway explores renewable hydrogen, e-fuels, biomethane and valuable chemical products through 2045.
